Inner Growth
Why going on a retreat?
Retreating oneself from the world for a while has always been an important act of personal evolution on the spiritual path. Retreating from one’s usual material existence allows us time to contemplate and reflect. It is an opportunity to reconnect with oneself or with something greater.
Dhyana Retreats is an ideal sanctuary for everybody who is looking for inner peace, serenity and clarity. The retreat place provides a nurturing ground to recharge oneself and to rediscover the essence of one’s precious life. Sometimes people feel that they have been on the run for too long and have lost sight of what they are actually running after. Sometimes people look for a place where they can retreat when they find themselves at a crossroad in their life, seeking for a new direction or a new beginning. Some are seekers of truth, seekers of a deeper meaning in life, who want to look for an answer to their quest within themselves. In life we do so many things, but still, we might have the feeling that something is missing. And it is too rarely that we allow ourselves a small gap from our worldly story, in order to create space so that newness can arise in us. And Dhyana Retreats can lead one to that newness.
Dhyana Retreats guides you along your inner journey
Retreating means to step out of one’s daily routine, withdrawing from the engagements and concerns of worldly life, taking a break from all the stories of the past or from future plans, so that there is space to look within. It allows to open up, so that something very profound, very magnificent can reveal itself. One can get in touch again with one’s innermost core, coming closer to one’s innate Divinity. The days at Dhyana Retreats will provide you inspiration and space to enter into this self-reflective journey towards yourself.
Daily Schedule
Create your personal retreat
A day at Dhyana Retreats offers you all the time in the world to just breathe, to contemplate, reflect, wonder and be in harmony with the very source of your being and the world around you. To meditatively stroll through the tropical gardens, sense the mesmerizing fragrance of the flowers and listen to the songs of the birds. To find poise in meditation, to attain union with your innermost core and be with your inner silence. To read inspiring books and take time for self-inquiry to find newness and clarity for your path.
If you like to deepen your stay at Dhyana Retreats, consider booking one of the healing programs at the Holistic Health Center. Our experienced Ayurvedic doctor team will take a first consultation and thereafter guide you with suggestions for a most beneficial healing program during your stay.
Your personal retreat can start on any day of the week and you can choose the length of your stay. The minimum stay is 2 nights, so that you have time to arrive and dive deeper into your peaceful self. We recommend long term stay for most benefit.
Hatha Yoga
Enjoy daily Yoga to balance body and mind
Welcome to join yoga classes held in the gardens of Dhyana Retreats – a beautiful environment to nurture yourself with all your senses. Your retreat includes daily the morning yoga class, which sets the tone for the whole day – calming the mind, relieving stress and relaxing the body.
Hatha Yoga is a persistent practice of physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation, all of which are integrated with one another, designed to purify the body. The practice brings flexibility and self-awareness to one’s body. It promotes physical and mental health, guiding one towards inner peace and harmony.
Benefit from early morning yoga:
It is an uplifting experience to participate in the morning yoga session in the garden at 6 am. When we are awake at dawn, we get exposed to the vibrant energies of nature, which give us the necessary spark to participate consciously and energetically throughout the day. A Sadhana recommended to continue once back at home.
