Dhyana Retreats is a spiritual sanctuary
Guidance of Dhyana
Coming to Dhyana Retreats means going on a profound inner journey. A journey of deep intention and personal transformation.
We kindly ask you to read the following Dhyana Retreats Guidelines prior to your arrival, that intend to create clarity for the space provided and requests just the right amount of self-discipline. The sanctuary is meant to support you in your retreat experience and provide that everybody at Dhyana Retreats can enjoy a serene environment and can benefit the most out of their stay.
We are above all, a place dedicated to the spiritual quest. It is important to be aware that Dhyana Retreats is a sanctuary and not a guest house, a hotel or a wellness spa. As a spiritual sanctuary, the space is meant for the ones who are interested in personal transformation and spiritual growth. Dhyana Retreats wishes to provide the space for contemplation, meditation and self-reflection.
Dhyana Retreats is the ideal place to come to when one wishes to take a break from all engagements, occupations and entertainments of one’s daily life routine, and is looking for a space to find tranquility and healing. If one is looking for something else at this moment, like a beach holiday or social life engagements, Dhyana Retreats may not be the right destination.
Minimum Stay
Your personal retreat can start on any day of the week and you can choose the length of your stay. However, the minimum stay is 2 nights, so that you have time to arrive and dive deeper into your most peaceful self.
Maintain the serenity of the place
Dhyana Retreats believes in living in beauty and profoundness.
An internet and cell phone free space
For one’s own benefit, we strongly recommend to reduce the use of electronic devices and consumption of social media and other internet usage as much as possible, and it would be best to switch off one’s phone entirely during one’s stay in order to benefit from the serenity of the place. For those who need at times, to stay in contact, please use your phone or internet only in your room, not in the public area. At the same time keep the sounds low, so that the accommodation area remains pleasantly silent.
Gifting oneself with an internet and cell phone free time provides one with a lot of space to explore and listen to one’s inner longing, and to be in the present moment, rather than being diverted to the outside world.
Purpose of your stay
The purpose of your stay is to take a break from the busy daily life. Take this retreat as an inward journey, and benefit from the time that you have taken out, to come closer to yourself. Actively going in the rhythm of the day and offering seva is a very helpful tool for this. This retreat is an invitation to take a little ‘holiday’ from yourself, your identity and your present life situation, so that newness can be discovered in you.
Benefit from the Early Morning Yoga
It is an uplifting experience to participate in the morning yoga session in the garden at 6 am. When we are awake at dawn, we get exposed to the vibrant energies of nature, which give us the necessary spark to participate consciously and energetically throughout the day. A Sadhana recommended to continue once back at home.
Practices
During your stay at Dhyana Retreats, we kindly request you to refrain from practicing any form of therapy or healing techniques on yourselves and on others. It is important to use your stay for your own inner growth and spiritual healing and to give space to others to do their own exploration of their purpose of coming to Dhyana Retreats.

Gifts
Please do not give tips or gifts to individuals – staff or children – at Dhyana Retreats. We serve as a collective and want to keep this place common good oriented, rather than service oriented. If you wish to give a donation to the place, please contact the office.
